Rey Mysterio, 34, has agreed to all terms on a new contract, but it has yet to be confirmed if he has officially signed the deal. Mysterio has agreed to terms for a three-year deal with a two-year option. His current contract with WWE was set to expire soon. It actually would have expired already, but the company extended it due to all the time he missed as a result of his various injuries. The standard WWE contract allows the company to extend it in the event of a long hiatus.

-- "The Wrestler" movie was said to be a factor in John Laurinaitis' decision to suspend Tuesday night Florida Championship Wrestling house shows at the Bourbon Street Night Club in New Port Richey, FL. He wanted WWE to disassociate themselves from the type of atmosphere seen in "The Wrestler," which made him feel doing a show in a bar was not something they wanted to be associated with.

-- John Bradshaw Layfield will apparently be on the cover of the May issue of Muscle & Fitness. He will likely talk about his tremendous weight loss via the assistance of a dietary supplement he formulated called "Layfield Energy Plus."
